Recently, the biogas purification project of Zhejiang Shanying Paper Industry, which was invested in, constructed and operated by Verienergy (Changzhou) Bioenergy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Verienergy Group, has been successfully put into operation!

The Weirley Zhejiang Shanying Paper Industry Biogas Purification Project purifies and upgrades the biogas produced from papermaking wastewater to high-quality biomethane, which is then connected to the urban gas pipeline network. This project successfully converts the biogas generated from papermaking wastewater into clean energy, injecting new impetus into the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement as well as the green transformation of the papermaking industry. 

2 Leading in scale: The designed biogas processing capacity reaches 100,000 cubic meters per day, with an annual output of approximately 24.5 million cubic meters of biomethane, ranking among the top in the industry in terms of production capacity. 

2 Advanced technology: Utilizing the amine purification process, it simultaneously removes hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from biogas, achieving a leading methane recovery rate and gas quality in the industry, with stable and reliable operation. 

2 Skid-mounted integration: It adopts an integrated skid-mounted design, featuring a compact layout, small footprint, and high integration level, which fully enhances space utilization efficiency and operational convenience. 

2 Intelligent Safety: Relying on the automatic control system, comprehensive system monitoring, and safety instrument system, it ensures the full automation of the entire process while fully guaranteeing the safety of system operation. 

The Weirley Zhejiang Shanye Paper Industry Biogas Purification Project is a significant milestone project for Weirley Group on its strategic transformation path in the bioenergy sector. The successful operation of this project has significantly enhanced the added value and comprehensive utilization efficiency of biogas in the papermaking industry, actively contributing to the synergy and efficiency improvement of traditional papermaking enterprises. The project produces approximately 24.5 million cubic meters of biomethane annually, which is integrated into the local urban gas pipeline network, providing an important supplement and guarantee for traditional energy supply.
